5 months

Well, it's been a long time since updating..I have to admit I kind of forgot I was even doing this! :) Mari is 5 months old now! She is almost crawling. Last time she was weighed she was 15 lbs. She wants to touch everything now. She also loves looking at Tana, the dog. Mari is also starting to cry when we leave the room. She likes to make the "razzing" sound with her lips. We are working on growing hair still...I can see a little bit coming in very slowly! We started on rice cereal this week (daddy thought that was rice krispies :) Dad is actually away on a fly fishing trip this weekend so Aunt Jaime is going to come and babysit because mom has to work.

I had my 10 year reunion over the 4th of July. It was great to see old friends. We went to Lake Metigoshi for the 4th of July and stayed at the Myre's cabin. It was a really nice weekend.

3/30/08

Mari is now 7 1/2 weeks old. Her infant acne really cleared up this week. I weighed her at exactly 7 weeks and she weighed 11.13 pounds. She is really starting to smile more and trying to "talk". She had 2 big "blowouts" today, thankfully her daddy even got to take care of one of them!

Mari's first Easter

First post!

Well, here we go! We will see how good I am about doing this..I got this idea from my friend Mandy as a way to keep track of my little Mari. She is 7 weeks old today.
Right now we are sitting at home with her sleeping in my arms. We just celebrated her first Easter. My mom and I went to Fargo with her to meet Mike and Jaime. This was the first time she met her Uncle Mike and second time seeing Aunt Jaime. Cody went to Minneapolis to the hockey tournament. Mari did so well for her first road trip. I think we heard her in the car maybe one time...she slept almost the whole time in the car! She also slept well in the hotel. On Easter, she had a cute little outfit (from her Grandma Deb) on (it even had Easter eggs on the feet)
She really likes to hear music. She kicks her legs like crazy when she hears it. :)
Now she is eating about every 4 hours. At night she will usually sleep about 4-5 hours straight (usually)
I have 3 weeks left of maternity leave. I am both dreading it and looking forward to it.
