Mari enjoyed her 2nd Christmas! Mom was on call, so we didn't get to go out of town. Christmas Eve we went to Mel and Diane's house. It was very nice.
Earlier in the month, Cody and I tried to take Mari to see Santa at the mall. She was fine until I told her it was her turn. She took one look at Santa and said "I get out, I get out!!" The rest of the time we were in the mall she was so worried about where santa was! I have heard her say a few times "I don't like santa"
So on Christmas eve when Diane said Santa had been downstairs she freaked out and started yelling "I go bye-bye I go bye-bye!!" It took a while to get her settled down and actually in the basement. :)
It as a Dora Christmas. I think her favorite present was from the Helms-a stuffed dora chair!
Christmas day Grandma and Grandpa Schiff and Aunt Jaime were supposed to come but we got a huge blizzard! We were stuck here for about 2 days. We got 24 inches of snow. The plows were even taken off of the roads for awhile.
